LoJack Slid 22% Today, One of the Nasdaq’s Worst Performers

LoJack reported third-quarter earnings before the bell this morning, and investors ran for cover.


One of the worst-performing stocks on the Nasdaq today was LoJack (LOJN), which reported its third-quarter earnings before the bell this morning.

Today’s subsequent 23% price drop (amid trading volume nearly eight times higher than average) reaffirmed the public’s decreasing confidence in the future of the vehicle-tracking and recovery company.

Facebook (FB) reported mixed third-quarter earnings Tuesday, with most areas barely beating the Street’s expectations and only a few falling short. However, despite a resulting 6% drop in FB stock, the company’s overall performance was very strong on a year-over-year basis.

Importantly, the social media giant continues to make strides in several key areas to improve mobile advertising, and those investments will secure FB’s position as a long-term market leader.
